CHRIS DADDIO president
Chris graduated with a degree in finance and economics before entering the construction industry. After college he took a position as a project manager for a luxury Manhattan general contracting firm. Chris left the city to start Design Development and began building homes on the east end of Long Island. Chris's recently completed projects include a residential home designed by architect Allan Greenberg and a 15,000 SF Hampton's classic by architect Barry Bashker. In his free time, Chris enjoys traveling and wake boarding.
KYLE EDWARD operations manager
Kyle is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and served as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army. While on Active Duty, Kyle served as a Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, and Operations Officer at varying levels of command. At Design Development Kyle handles operational management, operations, logistics, and client interfacing. In his free time, Kyle enjoys physical fitness, trying new restaurants, and spending time at the beach.
AL DADDIO vice president
Al has been a construction professional for over 40 years with extensive experience constructing both residential homes and commercial spaces. During his career he spent 10 years as the construction manager for Net Properties managing the construction of shopping centers, office buildings, and numerous client designed commercial built-outs including super markets, medical offices, movie theaters, and athletic centers such as Safe-T-Swim. Al's recently completed projects include a resort style contemporary home in Wainscott and a 30,000 SF commercial shopping center in Staten Island. In his free time, Al enjoys cooking and skiing.
NORMAN LACASSE master craftsman
Norm has been crafting custom cabinets and performing meticulous interior work for over three decades. After graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering Norm entered into the construction industry as an apprentice and through hands on experience and a commitment to excellence has earned the name Master Craftsman. At Design Development, Norm manages the cabinet shop and oversees interior trim installations. In his free time, Norm enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and crafting furniture for his friends and family.
MIHAIL GOLOVANOV project manager and IT specialist
Mihail graduated with a degree in business management and joined Design Development as a project manager. Mihail's specializes in integrating smart home applications, maintaining organized project records, and accounting. In addition, Mihail is a fluent Russian and Latvian speaker. When not on the project site, Mihail enjoys exercising and restoring American automobiles.
DOUG BOUGH senior project manager & craftsman
Doug has been constructing custom residences for the past 3 decades and brings his seasoned experience as a senior project manager to Design Development. At Design Development, Doug is our lead field craftsman as well as our senior project manager.
